Nelson Braff began his career as a real estate attorney. Since then, he has branched out into multiple fields, including substantial experience working in the financial services industry and with small public companies. Nelson also has extensive experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries.
James Mallios is a well known and respected advocate for the restaurant, bar and hospitality industry, notably taking on Covid-19 related difficulties faced by the industry. James also serves as "in-house counsel" for a number of bars, hotels and restaurants.
Constance Oberle Geoghan (“Connie”) is an award-winning attorney who has been in-house counseling global companies on matters of mergers and acquisitions, integration of acquired assets, commercial transactions, litigation, compliance, privacy, cyber-security and risk management since 2004.
Anna Adelstein handles a broad range of commercial disputes, securities litigation and SEC actions. She has extensive experience representing and defending members of the financial services industry and small public companies in state and federal litigations, FINRA and AAA arbitrations, regulatory matters and agency enforcement proceedings.
Olujimi “Jimi” Akindele’s legal practice currently focuses on enabling innovative startups and foundations to build their teams, raise funding and establish their path to growth and impact.
Amanda just completed her first year as a JD Student at Maurice A Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. She earned her undergraduate degree at Fordham College at Rose Hill (2020) with a major in Economics; Minor in English. She intends to use this knowledge as an intern at PULLP.
Abbie is a 2L at Hofstra University’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Economics and a minor in Psychology from The Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. Abbie aspires to bring a positive attitude and work ethic as a PULLP intern.
Anna is completing her last year as a JD student at Cardozo Law School. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, where she majored in Biopsychology, Cognition & Neuroscience, as well as Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. Outside of class, she participated in research assistantships, organizations that promoted student wellbeing, and entrepreneurship competitions. After graduation, she moved to New York City to work and complete a master's degree in Clinical Psychology. These experiences helped shape her interest in working with startups and in the legal and healthcare industries. Her subsequent experiences in law school classes, legal internships, and the Cardozo ADR Competition Honor Society have helped her realize specific legal interests in startups, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, finance, tax, intellectual property, arbitration, negotiation, and mediation.
